PROJECT 1 - Vermilion Records

As part of the KKB345 Creative Industries project at QUT, I worked for Vermilion Records as part of their bands and external engagement teams. Vermilion Records provided me with a supervised team orientated learning experience that developed my individual self- knowledge, confidence, and real-world skills as a future practitioner for the Creative Industries. My role within the bands and external engagement teams was to assist with all things relating to marketing. This involved staying up to date with releases and gigs for the Vermilion bands. On the bands team I helped with the brainstorming of social media posts, writing of captions, and selected visuals for key dates. I also worked on the external engagement team, where I helped develop connections with other university student-run record labels from around the world.
