ABOUT ME

To summarise, I am a Brisbane based marketer and designer developing my creative practice. In the projects I have worked on, I strive to cultivate a collaborative group culture where all parties involved have their strengths recognised and appropriately delegated. I am an adaptable individual with experience and skills in diverse environments and am dedicated to continuous improvement. I actively seek out opportunities and always pride myself on my enthusiastic and diligent work ethic. I execute all my skills with pride, attention to detail and impeccable time management.

I specialise in a broad range of design areas including UX, web development, graphic, typographic, and brand design. My strengths lie in my flexibility and eagerness to learn new skills. I am a well-rounded employee with my educational background; having completed subjects in IT, business management, communications, marketing, and design. During my university studies I completed an exchange semester at Lund University in Sweden. Throughout my time living in Europe, I met many amazing people from all around the world and was able to go to many gigs and music festivals. I believe my accumulative skills and experiences are a strong foundation to build my future career upon.

I am passionate about the music community and industry. I plan to channel my talents into PR and marketing for bands as I did in my role at Vermillion records where I specialised in social media management and external engagement. With my extensive knowledge of music history and understanding of the industry, I am looking for a role where I can apply these strengths in a commercial context. I am looking specifically for a role in PR, marketing, and communications; although I am still interested in contributing my broader skills from design and IT to initiate growth and development within a work environment.

My working background in retail and hospitality taught me invaluable soft, interpersonal, and communicative skills. This consequently has led me to become an integral part of a team with a genuine and personal approach to customers. I am enthusiastic when it comes to smashing KPI’s and ensuring clients have the best possible experience with my work in any area this may be.

I am active in the Brisbane music scene, where I attend many of my friends’ gigs; this has resulted in me developing connections with many local bands and artists. My future aspirations are to write and produce my own EP, where I can musically collaborate with my mates, and further develop my understanding of the music industry.
